Looking Ahead explores the intersection between people and culture across countries.
Cultural differences manifest themselves in several ways – behaviors patterns, attitudes, symbols, cultural norms, customized technologies, rituals… Looking Ahead gathers all of those expressions or practices as well as personal observations and comments.
People of different countries have different value orientations that causes variations in preferences of products and brands – unpackaging the concept of culture inspires or challenges me and helps me understand my around.
This site is kept in my spare time. It was started in Oct 2009, just after I decided to move to Helsinki for one year, giving up my routine and looking for newer horizons.
I am an observer and an enthusiastic about urban documentary photography.
